Marv was born and raised in Holly. He is married to his wife Karen and has 2 daughters. One daughter attends MSU and the other daughter is married and expecting her first child. He has been employed by the Holly Department of Public Works for 28 and ½ years.

In 2003 Marv was appointed Director for the Department of Public Works. Marv has 9 employees and supervises the maintenance of the cemetery, local and main streets, water distribution, parks and recreation and sewer systems. Marv and his staff take pride in the snow removal for the Village of Holly. Snow removal is something that the Village of Holy has taken pride in and under Marv’s direction it is certain to continue for many years to come. It is imperative to Marv that he gives the Village of Holly the best service possible, especially during the winter months; to be sure they can travel with safety in a timely manner on our roads.

Marv is a dedicated and conscientious employee and will continue to direct the DPW in a way that is best for the citizens of Holly. His long-term goal is to make the street and infrastructure of Holly as maintenance free as possible
